Privacy Policy

Information you provide

Account information may include your username, a password hash when you choose password sign-in, and an Apple or Google account identifier and email address when you use those sign-in options. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

Profile information includes your first name, last initial, date of birth for age eligibility, profile photo if you add one, and other profile fields you choose to complete, such as school. The service is intended for people age 18 and older.

Information from using the app

We store Circle names, membership, connections, invitations and approval preferences; question rounds, picks and skips; profile results and activity needed to calculate and display them; and reports, blocks and notifications.

We store session tokens in hashed form and related timestamps to keep you signed in and protect account access. If you enable push notifications, we store your device's push token and notification preferences. Our hosting and delivery providers may process request information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, timestamps and error logs to deliver and secure the service.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate accounts, apply age restrictions, display profiles, run Circles and invitation flows, deliver rounds and results, send requested notifications, respond to support requests, investigate reports and abuse, and maintain and secure the service.

What other people can see

Profile details and photos are shown in relevant social features, including Circles and candidate selections. Circle members can see information needed to participate in their shared Circle. Results may show questions, pick counts and aggregated profile traits. Do not treat picks as confidential communications: the service stores individual voting records to operate the game, even when a view does not identify the voter.

People you send an invitation to receive a link that can grant access according to the Circle's invitation settings. Share links only with intended recipients. Content you choose to share using your device's share sheet is handled by the destination service you select.

Service providers and disclosures

We use providers for hosting, database and file storage, sign-in, app distribution, app updates and push delivery. Current integrations include Railway, Apple, Google and Expo. They process information needed to provide their respective services under their own terms and privacy policies. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to address fraud or abuse, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information. The current app does not include third-party advertising or an advertising-tracking SDK.

Permissions and invitations

You can decline or later disable push notifications in device settings. Camera and photo access are used when you choose to add a profile photo. Invitations use your device's sharing tools; Marlow does not require an address-book upload or a phone number.

Retention and account requests

We retain information as needed to operate the service, handle safety reports and disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain backups. Retention varies by data type and purpose; we do not promise an immediate purge of every backup.

You can delete your account in Settings, or contact marlow.app@gmail.com for access, correction, or deletion help. Deletion signs you out everywhere, removes your login, profile, and photo, and removes the Apple, Google, or password sign-in link. A later sign-in starts a new account. We keep safety reports, and we keep votes and Circle records other members still need. Those retained records no longer include your name, username, or photo. A Circle you created is transferred to another member when one exists. We also keep backups for a limited time. We may need to verify ownership before completing an email request, and we will explain anything that must be retained and why.

Children, security and international processing

Marlow LoL is not intended for anyone under 18. If you believe an underage person has provided information, contact us. We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own.

This website

The informational pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. They do not use advertising cookies, a contact form or embedded analytics. GitHub may process technical request information to deliver and secure the website. Opening the app, the App Store, or an email link takes you to the respective service. Your browser may cache the site's assets.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date on this page identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions or requests, contact Mobi Media, Inc. at marlow.app@gmail.com. Include your username and a description of your request, but do not send your password, sign-in codes or private keys.
